Client charged with Conspiracy to Import Heroin into the United States. Extradition bail hearing in the BC Supreme Court
The Facts:
The accused was facing extradition to the United States on charges that he, along with others, conspired to import heroin from Pakistan to the United States. The Federal Department of Justice Prosecutor acting on behalf of the United States government was seeking to detain the accused in jail pending the determination of his extradition hearing.
The Result:
The accused was released from custody. The accused was released on bail pending his extradition hearing.
