Successful defense in domestic assault case

Client’s wife called 911 to report assault and threats from the client her husband. Client placed on no contact and no go conditions preventing client from returning to family home or having contact with wife. Before charges approved, Mr. Whysall spoke to the client, police, complainant and Crown Counsel and successfully persuaded Crown Counsel to not approve and proceed with charges. Case dropped and client permitted to return home and have contact with his wife.

No Charge of domestic assault and threats. Despite police attendance and statements being taken, on further examination of the evidence the matter not proceeding and no charges approved.
